Create some compelling Before/After photo edits in the following areas: Color and contrast correction, photo restoration and retouching, selective adjustments or filters, and a technique of your choice from 50 Truly Useful Photoshop Tutorials or other cited source. Upload your work to Coursework, including original source images as the bottom layer of your PSD files, a finalized JPG file, and a short write-up explaining your work.

Looking for some source material? Take some digital photos yourself or check out some royalty-free photos.

Assignment will be graded on the following criteria:

• Submit 3 edited images that use a combination of filters and corrections.
• Each PSD document is at least of resolution 1024x768 or better.
• Layers are intelligently named.
• Edited images include more than one obvious filter applied.
• Photoshop files are unflattened and show work. Bottom layer is the original image.
• Written explanation of work.
• Originality and respect of copyrights. (Spoofs are great, but final work must still be original.)
• Apparent effort.
• Included all original source and reference media.
